Summary Part 11

Summary of Color for Interior Decorating eCourse

Well done for getting to the end of your color ecourse. I will tell you right now that it’s not the end of your learning but just the beginning.

You will never stop learning about color and if you keep up with your notebook and scrapbook you will start to see how far you have come. You will now be looking at interiors with an interior designer’s eye. It will now make a big difference to the way you make your color decisions.

Now I want you to go and start practising. You can use your friends, family, yourself, the projects don’t have to go ahead but you can create color schemes and practice presenting them. Get some confidence in explaining them to your family and friends, they are often the hardest people to please but they will support you and hopefully give you positive and honest feedback. It is a good way to get familiar with the products and materials that are available inyour area – giving you a head start for when you do have to create a real life color scheme.

Where to from here?

I’m not just going to drop you know I’ve given you the basics. If you stay subscribed you will receive our monthly newsletter and be notified of any blogs I post about interiors, approximately 3-4 each month. I will also keep you up to date with any more free interior design education that we create and remind you that you are welcome to use all the websites to source information. Over time we are hoping to provide you with product information and education – so stay tuned for that.

If you haven’t already – go and take a look at our videos on color, do the color quiz and see how much you remember and if you want to reward yourself with a certificate of achievement. The ecourse is also available in pdf format, complete with the extra articles and photographs for a small cost.

I want to say thanks for being a great student and I wish you good luck with your new hobby, career or with decorating your own home.

Bye for now
